Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

We provide cultural education, historical preservation, and community support programs to empower Indigenous people and strengthen their connection to their roots. Through advocacy, outreach, and traditional practices, we work to uphold Indigenous sovereignty, identity, and self-determination.

Position Summary:
The Program Director oversees the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs that align with the organization's mission. This role ensures program goals are met, resources are utilized effectively, and community impact is maximized.
Key Responsibilities:

Program Management: Develop, implement, and evaluate programs to achieve organizational objectives.

Budget Oversight: Create and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Staff Supervision: Hire, train, and supervise program staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with community partners, funders, and other stakeholders to advance program goals.

Grant Writing and Reporting: Assist with grant applications and prepare reports for funders on program outcomes.

Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leadership to align programs with the organization's strategic goals.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit Management, Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

5+ years of experience in program management, including staff supervision and budget management.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Experience working with diverse populations and understanding community needs.

Familiarity with grant writing and reporting requirements.

Proficiency in program management software and tools.
